About Me

Hello, I'm Rosie, a 20-year-old theatre technician currently studying for a degree in Theatre & Performance Technology at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, specialising in stage management and lighting.Over the past year I have been working as a technical volunteer and freelance venue technician at The Grand, Clitheroe, a state-of-the-art live performance venue and recording studios. Here I have gained considerable experience in lighting and use of AV for all kinds of events ranging from conferences, awards ceremonies and fashion shows to rock gigs, acoustic evenings, film nights and plays.I also gained some experience in live sound engineering and sound recording and editing.I have had the opportunity to work with people and organisations from all walks of life, including local schools and clubs, international charities and touring theatre companies such as Saltmine Productions. I have also worked with the likes of Charlotte O'Connor, Delirious, The Travelling Band, The Swing Commanders, The Rat Pack, Urban Folk Quartet and Eric Faulkner's The Bay City Rollers.
