The Anarchistic Makeup Artist
In 1994, I embarked on a journey that would prove to be the most significant adventure I had ever known. That year, I became a Makeup Artist. Starting my career in venues such as haunted house attractions, nightclubs and costume shops, I was determined to achieve my dream of success!
Anxious to get elbow-deep in any work I could get my hands on, I never turned down an opportunity - from Brush Cleaner eventually leading up to Key Makeup Artist. In 2003, another of my dreams came true when I was offered a sought-after opportuntity as a MAC Makeup Artist. This, combined with the freelance work I would do during the coming years, moulded me into the Makeup Artist I am today!.
Today, my skills include extensive expertise in designing, executing and supervising makeups for bridal parties, society events, fashion shows, photo, television and film shoots as well as live stage and interactive performances. I also possess expert skill in eyebrow shaping. Proudly, I am experienced in various facets of special effects makeup including the preparation and utilization of prosthetic appliances as well as various injury and aging techniques.
