Comedian, Writer, Mom, Fancy-Pants...

Robin Reiser was born in at NYU Medical Center over looking the beautiful river east of Manhattan cleverly called: The East River.Her parents, Bob and Sandy Reiser moved from the Bronx to Los Angeles where they welcomed her younger brother William into the family and then quicky moved back to New York. The next few years growing up on the cold, hard streets of the suburbs were tough, but her parents successful raised Robin to be a nice, but often sarcastic person.Robin attended an expensive private college in NY where she proved she was smart and interesting by double majoring in Theater and Pre-Med. She graduated with honors only to move into a tent with her deadbeat boyfriend and his skinny dog. Once that love-well ran dry, she joined a group of traveling entertainers and found herself working as characters for kid's parties. After a few gruling months, and weary from life on the road she fled from the troop and found a much-needed respite under the warm loving arm of Los Angeles.Robin has spent the last 9 years in LA honing her stand up comedy, writing and acting. She not only frequents the stage at the Hollywood Improv and many other popular LA comedy clubs, she’'s also a regular at less known venues such as bowling alleys, laundry mats and Alano clubs. She can be seen doing commentary for E! & Oxygen or on the Internet where she is a viral favorite among procrastinating college students. Robin was the winner of several comedy contests including: “Trial By Laughter” at Comix in NYC and “Tickled Pink” at the Laugh Factory in L.A. Other credits include: “Love Bites” on TBS, Andrew Bergmann’s “Jackrabbit Sky,” Henry Jaglom's "Going Shopping," and “Last Comic Standing” on NBC.As of March 2011 Robin became a new mom, so conversations with her tend to revolve around nap-lengths and diaper preferences. Robin currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband, son, two cats and a dog.
