About Regional Councillor, Rick Johnson
I have lived in North Pickering with my wife Susan for the last 35 years. I graduated from University of Guelph with a diploma in Agriculture.
It has been my pleasure to serve the Residents of Pickering for the past 21 years and also to serve on Durham Regional Council for the past 18 years.
I always look forward to meeting and talking with people in my community. I am informed about the day to day issues that affect us here in Durham Region, and I am always working to make our communities safer. I have strived to have no tax increases whenever possible.
" I appreciate Ricks support for strong family values and strong communities. He is also a tireless community booster as exemplified by his work with Herizon House and his many fundraising efforts for community charities."
- John Wiersma, Past Chair Board of Directors, Past CEO Veridian Corp
Experience
"Rick Johnsons commitment to seeing a shelter built for abused women and children to serve our community has been no less than outstandinggiving countless hours of his time to ensure that we can begin to end the cycle of violence. When Rick Johnson says he will get something done, you can rely on his word and his determination to get you where you need to go."
