Richard is a cinematographer, editor and photographer. A rarefied creative-techie, having long ago realised that to 'do it right' he was going to have to learn how do to it himself. These control-freak attributes have led him to master several crafts, with two creative degrees under his belt (a BA from Warwick in Theatre & an MA from Goldsmiths in Filmmaking), and experience in teaching photography and digital arts. He is an award winning cinematographer having recently received the Brief Encounters gong for "Best Student Cinematography in the UK and Ireland" and his films are currently touring festivals around the country.
He has shot and edited many of Tea Fuelled's shorts, consistently pushing the production values on each film higher. He also plays an active role in running and designing publicity for Flea Circus and Tea Fuelled and their websites. He is hoping to play a design role in the ongoing and as yet unreleased Tea Fuelled project "The London Dreadful", an app-based penny dreadful inspired digital magazine of short stories as well as working on future Tea Fuelled films.
Richard likes single malt, Green & Blacks chocolate, chutney, Karl Jenkins, Marina & the Diamonds, Doctor Who, 30 Rock, mountains, The Shard, Amelie, The Fall and things made out of wood.
Richard has struggled for an hour to think of something he dislikes.
