Ant is a Director and Playwright from Hereford in the West Midlands.
It took him a while to realize that there might be more to life than green fields and ale, but moved to London shortly after to pursue a career in the arts. He has graduated from the Birkbeck MFA in Theatre Directing; an English and Theatre Studies degree at The University of Warwick; the Royal Court’s Young Writer’s Programme. He has also received: The Victoria Cross; a bronze medal for diving in the Moscow Olympics; a Nobel Prize for contributions to global biscuit-reduction and the wooden spoon for modesty.
Tea Fuelled is the perfect platform for Ant, as it allows him to collaborate with extremely talented people; talented people he is lucky enough to call friends. It has allowed him to push forward his theatre work and expand his practice into new areas. In the near future he would like to create a Tea Fuelled Rock Opera as well as direct a short film based on his own play, North Pole Junction.
When he’s not directing for Tea-Fuelled, Ant bangs drums for Bang Bang One Dollar and runs his own company, Never Say Theatre. www.neversaytheatre.co.uk.
It took him even longer to realize that a life of green fields and ale really is something quite in its own right and is planning various ways to move his art back there…
