Alastair Binnie-Lubbock: Cinematic Renaissance Man
Alastair's first brush with screen stardom occurred in his formative years where he starred as "Supporting Artist" in CBBC's Grange Hill for two seasons until he outgrew the uniform. Since then he has gone on to be a "Supporting Artist" in several of Tea Fuelled's YouTube spectaculars.
Beyond the heady world of "Supporting Artistry" Alastair has directed 3 films with Tea Fuelled; A Lie on The Lips, The Story of the Best Movie Ever Told (Hitler 2) and 59 by Harry Baker. Alastair has worked with other big names in the British Film industry including; BBC Films, Warp Films, Optimum Releasing and the BFI.
Alastair studied Film and Literature and Creative and Media Enterprises at Warwick University where he first encountered tea as a fuel substance, and fellow tea fuelled creatives. He is LAMDA certified and likes to dabble in editing and silly voices. He also holds a clean driving licence which comes in very handy in conjunction with his orange VW camper which gets him from gig to gig.
Alastair is also a writer, animator, marketeer, masseur, puppeteer, cinema programmer and music promoter. In the summer months you can usually find him in a field putting on gigs, programming a shorts cinema, dressing up and being silly with the other arts collective he is affiliated with; Autumn Shift.
