Our Purpose...connect people to Jesus.
There is nothing more important in this world than for people to be connected to Jesus. This connection begins with Salvation. After that we must connect to Jesus daily for joy, satisfaction and to continue becoming more like Him.
The process.this is HOW people will be connected to Christ.
Our process is based on the greatest commandment, the second greatest commandment and the great commission.
Jesus gave us the following three part process.
Love God.
Jesus said: You shall Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest commandment. Matt. 22: 37-38 By loving God we will worship Him, communicate with Him through prayer and be in His word.
Love People.
Jesus said: The second is like it, You shall LOVE your neighbor as yourself. Matt 22:39 By loving people we will develop relationships with them through small groups, we will share Gods word with each other, we will minister to each other within the church, we will be accountable to each other...we will love people where they are.
Serve the World.
Jesus said: Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I command you and lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age. Matt. 28:19-20 By serving the world we will fulfill the great commission by being the salt and the light He has asked us to be in our daily lives...as we go. We will also develop purposeful outreaches to our community and world.
