Shopping for invitations and announcements should never involve standard, three-ring binders full of the same invitation over and over. RiCreations offers an exciting alternative to catalogue and standard boxed stationery at a comparable price. Each design is custom, unique, and tailored specifically to your style, inspiration and budget. For as long as I can remember, I have always been crafty and creative. Growing up, I loved to color, draw and make unique paper creations. Once I got engaged, I was on the hunt for the PERFECT invitation that gave my guests the first glimpse into the fun and exciting destination wedding in Jamaica we were planning. I quickly became frustrated by the limited wedding stationary available for the type of wedding I was planning. Being the arts and crafts junkie that I am, I soon made the decision to design and assemble my own invitations. After months of research, lots of trial and error and great assistance from my MOH (and fellow craft junkie) I was able to deliver my custom, beautiful invites to family and friends. The invitations were a true reflection of me and my husbands personalities. Along with the invitations, I also designed all the wedding stationary for our big day. During the process of planning my own wedding, I quickly developed a love for the design process and creating unique, one of a kind paper goods. I begin to receive request from family, friends and co-workers. My husband and biggest supporter encouraged me to turn my hobby into a business and in January of 2010, RiCreations was born! I have a true passion for the work I do and I am committed to providing the best service and experience possible. My number one design goal is to help make your special event unique and memorable not only for you but also your guests. With strict attention to detail, each creation is sure to be an unforgettable keepsake. Cocktail Parties I can't find an invitation I like, can you design one for me?Yes, RiCreations specilizes in custom designed invitation ensembles. If you have an idea, theme or just can't find an invitation, I can design one for you. During your complimentary consultation we will discuss your ideas and brainstorm with you to create the invitation you are envisioning. What is included in a wedding invitation suite?A wedding invitation set typically includes the invitation, mailing envelope, two enclosure cards and a reply envelope. When should I order my wedding invitations? Once you have a signed contract with your wedding ceremony and reception locations you can go ahead and place your wedding invitation order. Your invitations should be ordered about 4 -6 months prior to your wedding date. This allows 4-6 weeks for your invitations to be ordered and delivered, as well as, plenty of time to mail them and wait for the RSVP's to start rolling in.. Should I order extra invitations when I place my order?Most definitely. I recommend that clients order at least 10% over the orginal number of guest you plan to invite. The extra invitations take care of those forgotten or last minute guests, scrapbooks, B-list guests and keepsakes. Because pricing is based on the total size of the original order, any reorders will require a minimum of 25 invitations and will be billed per invitation.Do you design other paper goods and stationary?Absolutely!! I offer programs, menus, seating charts, baby/bridal showers, parties, graduations.....any and all of Life Celebrations!Is there anything I need to bring to the consultation meeting? If you have any pictures of invitations you like or any color swatches you would like to match feel free to bring those with you, as well as, any ideas you may have... If you are just getting started and don't have the previously mentioned items we are happy to help you get started and show you the wide variety of invitations available. Consultations by appointment onlyMonday - Thursday 6pm - 8pmFriday and Saturday 10am - 7pmSunday 12pm - 4pm How do I send you the addresses?Clients supply me with their invitation list, preferrably by an Excel spreadsheet, exactly as they would like it to show up on the front of the envelopes.Including: First & Last Name (Example: Ms. Risha Mabry) Address 1 (Example: 321 East Wysteria Lane) Address 2 (Example: Apartment 10) City, State Zip Code Be sure to spell out all of the words within your addresses, such as streets, avenues, boulevards, and states. The only abbreviations considered acceptable are words such as Mr., Mrs., etc. For an address template, please email me and I will be happy to send you one I use.Do you accept rush orders?Yes, if my current production allows for it, I can definitely try to work with clients for rush orders. Additional charges may apply.

Wedding and Reception • Step One: Complimentary Consultation This is the fun part. We begin with a consultation by phone, email, or in person to discuss everything that will play a part in your design — colors, themes, locations, materials, photos, music, and fashion. You will have a chance to review and discuss previous custom work to get a sense of my style and the quality of the materials. You are encouraged to bring fabric swatches, magazine clippings, florals, and anything else that reflects your personality and vision. The sky is truly the limit as we imagine a design for your event.• Step Two: Proposal & Price Quote If after our initial meeting you would like a design proposal, I will request all of your key information (names, dates, wording, venue, quantity, and stationery budget) to draft an official proposal. Next, a $75 non-refundable design fee to begin the process — this fee is applied towards your order should you choose to move forward with the design. Once presented with the proposal, you are welcome to provide feedback, ask questions, suggest design and material changes, and to ultimately choose your final creative direction. Within the next two - four weeks a design concept will be presented along with a price quote for the entire project. Note: the timing for this process is often dependent upon the complexity of your design concept and any materials that may need to be priced or sourced.• Step Three: Design Mockup & Proof Approval You will be given three rounds of editing during this phase — additional edits will be billed at $25 each. The first draft is your first opportunity to make critical design and/or text edits. A second draft will be presented, offering another opportunity for edits. For the third and final draft, you will be asked to proof for punctuation, spelling, dates, typestyles and layout. Please note — it is important to be meticulous when proofing, as I cannot be held responsible for any mistakes once a client has approved the final draft.• Step Four: Approve Proposal Once details are finalized and you accept the final draft, you will be presented with an order agreement noting all of the final materials, colors, styles, prices, due dates, and deliverables that were agreed upon during the proposal process. A 50% payment (less $75 for the intial design fee) of the total quote is required to secure a date on our production calendar and move into the final design phase.• Step Five: Assembly & Delivery Once the Order and Contract are agreed upon the remaining 50% balance must be paid in full to commence production. All necessary materials will be ordered, printed, and assembly will begin. This process can take anywhere from three weeks to three months, depending on the complexity and size of your order. Upon completion of your order, I can ship your invitations directly to you (additional charges may apply), arrange for local delivery or pick-up.

Coporate Events What is the average cost of your invitations? Prices vary depending upon the needs of the client and the amount of detail, customization and intricacy of the design. We can work with your budget, but typically invitations cost in the range of $2-$8 per invitation suite.
