I’m Richard Salazar, and my company, Creative Design Solutions, has been solving customer design, packaging and outsourcing issues for 20 years.

Outdoor Furniture
Project- Create a 3D models, castings, weldments and assemblies, from 2D or hand Drawn Data. Reverse engineering is also required at times.
Customer - Tropitone Furniture
Outcome- Provide support in transitioning the company from a 2D framework into a solid modeling organization. Teach their engineering staff and suppliers modeling structure to improve their product development cycle and time to market.
We are proud to be part of the development of over 25 new lines of furniture while working with Tropitone.
Passenger Cotrol Unit (PCU)
Project - Create an in arm control unit to fit into legacy aircraft chairs which conforms to all FAA and customer requirements
Customer - Private
Outcome - The controller utilizes IPOD thumbwheel technology, a credit card reader and Ethernet connectivity through the PCU electronics interface, while offering protection to those electronics with a spill proof design.
Computer server Enclosure
Project - Create a sheet metal enclosure for a rack mount server.
Customer - Integrix
Outcome - Designed the chassis and all sheet metal components for cost effective manufacturing, which incorporates legacy hot swap drive modules and replaceable fan modules.
Dual 8mm recorder
Project- Create a removable dual 8mm recorder that can withstand the rigors of a jet fighter and be operated by a pilot with gloved hands
Customer - TEAC
Outcome- A tight compact package which utilizes two legacy 8mm recorders. The unit is mounted in the cockpit and the tapes can be easily swapped out during flight by gloved hands.
Neon Sign
Project- To create a 3D model of the Signs components based on 2D legacy data, in order to give an accurate length of glass tubing required for cost analysis and material requirements.
Customer - Everbrite
Outcome- Initially the company was looking to produce 12 of the most popular NFL logos, Once the project was completed and the modeling was validated, Everbrite decided to do all 26 NFL logos.
RC Motorcycle skin
Project- To create a skin for RC motorcycles, which mimic the Kawasaki GSXR 1000
Customer - Brazimoto
Outcome- By using only brochure pictures, we created a true to scale skin, which mimics the actual full size skins of the Kawasaki GSXR 1000 motorcycle. These models were used to create vacuum forming tooling.
