A PEACE OF MIND!
"O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom" ~Job 13:5
I have a confession: I'm a national and political news buff, I guess it's because I love History. I love historical stories and documentaries and museums and travel.
With me also being such a visceral person, I believe that there is a spiritual connection to all things, which in turn, trigger emotional responses in everyone. Emotional responses lead to history making events, etc, etc. In other words, I feel very connected to times and people who have lived in them, always making me curious enough to mentally walk in their shoes. To journey through time and see how the hypothetical "butterfly effect" has brought us to where we are today.
So one thing that has been on my mind for the last couple of years is, "where are we going from here"? When I look at TV, I see so much negativity, lightning speed technical advances, political turmoil, greed, and financial despair. It makes me wonder if this is the end, and if so, how do we deal with it, because the "end of the world" is a paralyzingly, scary thought.
Well the easy and obvious answer is to believe and trust God. But c'mon, even though it's simple to roll that off of your tongue, worry and anxiety subtly creeps in and can easily take over your peace. Wait a minute .. That's it. PEACE! You have to maintain your PEACE!
When we look at the book of Job and witness his patience, it's amazing to even imagine walking in his shoes. How can one have such trust and faith when his world is collapsing all around him? Can we do this? Yes, but you have to "strong arm" your mind and force it to do what you need done at the moment. I call this compartmentalizing your emotions.

Its time to purge this negative energy and renew our lives. It starts with a decision, then prayer, belief, and transformation - this is possible, with God it all is. So lets get down to it girls! Today is the day that we start to live better and be better. Today is the day that we decide to Live Renewed!"
Born and raised in Southern California, Erinn always knew that she was a bit different. Never knowing how to put it into perspective, she just did what she does best - march to the beat of her own drum. Mothered by many, as her mother was ill most of her life before passing away when Erinn was only 20, she always wanted to understand how to "be". Many women guided her and gave her wise words, which she to this day, still holds very dearly.
Like some others, Erinn experienced many difficulties in her lifetime from being raised in a single-mother household to the death of a child to divorce. She soon learned that strength is a choice and realized that despite all that could go wrong in life, God is faithful, enduring, and gives us all that we need to carry on.
Using the Holy Bible and her own confidence to survive, she decided that the gift that she has is not so common, and that there are others who needed to be encouraged and uplifted. This is the platform for Renewing Your Spirit.
Renewing Your Spirit and Erinn's mission is to Empower Women To Be Well - Emotionally, Physically, Financially, and Spiritually. Using social affairs and media, Erinn brings Renewing Your Spirit into the lives of not only women, but to all, in order motivate and encourage them to be their best.
Renewing Your Spirit's outlets are Living Renewed Magazine, The Renewing Your Spirit Radio Show, contributions to several newspapers throughout the U.S., Take Advantage Of Your Second Chance blog, KEBN Online Radio Network, The Renewing Your Spirit Foundation, technological devices, and several social networking sites. Erinn also hosts parties, fundraisers, and speaking / educational engagements for women as part of the Sisterhood Event Series©. In conjunction with organizations that benefit women and children, The Renewing Your Spirit Foundation raises money and awareness for their cause.
In addition to living her passion, Erinn is a mother to all boys whose interests range from hip-hop to Nickelodeon. She is also a master gardener, an avid reader and loves learning about herbal remedies, history, nature, and music. Erinn currently resides in North Texas with her children.

Proceeds from Living Renewed Magazine help fund The Renewing Your Spirit Foundation which raises funds for education, and awareness of organizations that benefit women and children, such as The American Heart Association, Women Heart, Walk A Mile In My Heelz (breast cancer), The National Breast Cancer Foundation, Girls Inc., Mocha Moms Inc., Ft. Worth Youth Poetry Slams, and Safe Haven Battered Women's Shelter Tarrant County. We have also partnered with U.B.U. (Unique Brothers United) which teaches "at-risk" males how to learn the value of loving themselves and how to interact with women in a non-violent manner. UBU also teaches young males etiquette.
