Physiotherapy (muscle therapy) works with Soft Tissue Release (STR) is a dynamic, highly effective technique that has an immediate and powerful effect on muscle and connective tissue. STR is a combination of Myofascial Release, Therapeutic Massage, and Active Assisted Stretching. The result: fast and permanent reorganization of scar tissue, the targeted muscle(s) return to the proper resting length, muscle imbalances are corrected, associated pain is decreased or eliminated altogether, and muscle performance is improved. Results are often obtained quickly and permanently.

With well over a decade of experience, those that know her, say Lisa Vel performs magic! Her studies at prestigious institutions across Europe, include cutting edge sports therapy in the U.K. and rehabilitative therapy in Austria and Poland.
Lisa is a single business owner who is a Detroiter at heart. She loves to support the arts and a fantastic city she calls home. Lisa keeps on the go with her education and practice, concentrating on her wellness program throughout the metro Detroit area. When not in the office, Lisa enjoys long walks with her English Pointer, painting, building furniture, dinners with friends and family, and live music of all sorts.
It’s a mistake to assume that the problem is at the place that hurts. overloaded and overstretched, and trigger points quickly develop. Pain from trigger points can be just as intense and disabling as pain from any other cause, and they can occur in any muscle in the body.
