Meet Your Host
Regina Foster has been performing in plays and musicals since she was a child. After appearing in many high school performances she added theatre to her course of study in college. She's appeared on television hosting the show Rhode Island's Child and went on to write, produce, and direct independent work including cabarets and drag shows.
The Regina's Universe brand started in 2005 when she started blogging. After several attempts on other formats she found her stride with the MySpace community. She was able to gain a strong following with her witty and thought provoking blogs as well as her dedication to charity by launching an international movement to create 1000 paper cranes to send to Japan for International Peace Day in 2007.
She took her blog to the airwaves in August 2007 with her first show Regina's Universe: Live & Uncensored on Blogtalkradio.com. Live & Uncensored focuses on current events, relationships, and daily life issues that affect all of us. With a live and very vocal audience the show entertains for 2 hours every Monday night.
When she's not on the air or spending time with her family, Regina is very active in fundraising for various charities. Her largest efforts benefit the Relay for Life, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and this year she welcomes the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night.

FROM THE BEGINNING...
From authors to innovative web site creators, Regina's Universe: Live & Uncensored has featured various topics since August 2007.
The first show aired on August 28 at midnight since new hosts weren't able to schedule during primetime. The discussion was about a relationhip blog from MySpace blogger Mya Papaya.
Despite airing in the middle of the night, the first show was a success and based on the strength of that one show Live & Uncensored was set to air at the current time of 10pm Eastern time.
Since then there have been over 100 episodes broadcast with a wide variety of topics and guests and an interactive chat room with the most loyal and dedicated listeners.

In March Regina's Universe added another weekly podcast to the brand by aligning with GREAT Talk Radio a private branded network on Blogtalkradio.com. GREAT is an acronym for Global Renewable Energy Awareness Team and through their shows and their website, GREAT-World, they improve awareness of renewable energy, the environment, biofuels, and what we can do to promote awareness. We are proud to be a part of the GREAT Talk Radio team.
