7 Mountain Prayer Strategy
Day 1 Prayer Strategy
RELIGION
Go and pray the following at as many different churches in your community as possible, including your own. Also go to locations where other gods are worshipped and proclaim that Jesus Christ is God and Lord alone over your city and this nation; we will have no other gods before us.
Redemptively pray the following over the true Church:
That those who name the Name of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior would experience a personal revival and fresh commitment of their lives to God and His purposes. (Joel 2:12-13)
That Godly sorrow and true repentance would come to the Church. (2 Cor. 7:10-11; Joel 1:13-14)
That there would be a greater revelation and release of Gods Kingdom through the Church. (Matt. 4:17, 23; 6:10, 33)
That Believers would discern the times culturally and nationally. (Matt. 16:2-3)
That a fear of man would be replaced by a true fear of the Lord. (Acts 4:19)
That God would grant His Church, as He did Joseph and Daniel, divine wisdom and strategies to engage culture with answers to questions and solutions to the real problems around us. (Dan. 1:4, 20)
That young leaders would emerge who will bring the culture of the Kingdom to the highest level of every cultural mountain. (Dan. 1:4,20)
Day 2 Prayer Strategy
FAMILY
Pray with your family today. Prayerwalk your neighborhood and pray over individual homes and the families within. If you are holding a corporate prayer meeting today, make it a family-friendly time and include the children of all ages in public prayer at the meeting.
•Redemptively pray the following:
Thank the Lord that in His wisdom He gave us the institutions of marriage and family and the stability they bring to society. Pray for the release of revelation of the profound mystery of the Bride and Christ that marriage represents. (Eph. 5:32)
Pray against division, divorce, strife, and contention between husband and wife, parents and children.
Pray for the protection and healing of marriages under financial, emotional and physical stress.
Pray for the restoration of the heart of those touched by broken marriages and families. Declare that the biblical definition of marriage as being between one man and one woman will be the standard of this nation; that the Lord will cause the redefinition of marriage and rise in gender confusion to end.
Pray that there would be a release of the Spirit of Adoption within biological families and the family of God, so that our children feel loved, cared about and secure in our love and in Gods love for them.
Day 3 Prayer Strategy
GOVERNMENT
Go and pray at your city, county and/or state government buildings, police and fire stations, military bases or other government-related places in your area.
Redemptively pray the following:
"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty." (1 Tim. 2:1-2)
Pray for the President, your state governor and the mayor of your city. Decree that God is Judge, Lawgiver and King and acknowledge that the government structure of the United States is based on this Biblical truth and foundation.
That our democratic form of government is meant to make and enforce laws in accordance with the Constitution, through a representation of the people and for the benefit of them. Decree that our Constitution will be honored and upheld by the current Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of our government.
Decree that the voices of the all the people of this nation will be heard and properly represented and that the voice of Christians will not be cut off. That God would grant wisdom, strength and resources to our local and national emergency responders, such as our police, fire and sheriff departments, highway patrol, national guard, etc.
Thank the Lord for their vigilance and compassion.
Pray for our military and their families who sacrifice so much, even unto death, for our national security. Go to www.militaryministry.org for more ways to pray for our military.
Day 4 Prayer Strategy
BUSINESS
Go and pray at your local Chamber of Commerce, malls, banks, hospitals, office buildings and any business the Lord may lead you to. Pray over your own place of employment, if you are working today.
That Believers would become Kingdom-minded regarding business and receive revelation that it is Gods idea.
That Christians would ask the Lord for creativity, favor and influence for new inventions, ideas and business strategies that benefit and strengthen our society.
That wealth would come into the Kingdom for its expansion through God-honoring businesses.
That corruption and self-service in American business, especially those founded or lead by Believers, would be replaced by honesty, integrity and service to others.
That each Christian business owner would understand that he or she is to be an example of the Believers to their employees, customers and business associates and that in doing so, they would interest many in knowing Christ.
Day 5 Prayer Strategy
EDUCATION
Go and pray at public and private schools from preschools to colleges. Encourage elementary to college-aged students to pray at their schools, even forming spontaneous public prayer meetings on campus.
Pray for the release of the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord in our schools, because it is the beginning of knowledge. (Is. 11:3; Prov. 1:7)
That the spirit of anti-Christ that has saturated the secular educational system from elementary schools to colleges with a God-less world-view would be challenged by the Christian students, teachers and administrators within the educational system.
That more Kingdom-minded Believers would desire to go into teaching, administration and support staff roles within the secular schools.
That home-schools would thrive and be free from government intervention.
ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT
Go and pray at your local museums, sports arenas, movie and live theaters, symphony halls, bookstores, public libraries, publishing houses, and anywhere else similar.
That there be a new, God-honoring, renaissance and revival of the arts.
That God would redeem past sounds and release new sounds that result in righteousness and draw men to God.
That a fresh creativity, together with technical excellence, would be given to Kingdom artists.
That those men and women bestowed with physical strength and beauty would honor God with their God-given talent.
Day 7 Prayer Strategy
MEDIA
Go and pray at your local television stations, newspaper offices, cable and satellite TV companies, companies providing internet service, and other similar locations.
Ask the Lord to raise up Kingdom voices in mass media and to grant favor, strength and excellence to those already there.
That God would raise up news networks, newspapers, blogs and other media methods that have Gods agenda, are Kingdom-minded, but are culturally relevant and competitive with secular sources.
That those working for the above would be bold to report the news from a Kingdom perspective, fully utilizing their 1st Amendment rights.
That the Lord would redeem the internet.
