Greetings and welcome to our web site.We are Civil War Living Historians based on Long Island, New York portraying soldiers that make up Company K of the 88th New York State Volunteer Infantry, a regiment that was also known as Mrs.Meaghers Own.
We are a non-profit, Living History authority, incorporated by the New York State Department of Education and the New York State Board of Regents as an authorized educational organization.We participate in Living History events on Long Island which include parades, school programs, encampments and re-enactments at home and abroad. We dedicate to keep alive the memory of the regiment whom we portray, to assure that future generations will not forget the sacrifices of those who fought and died for what they believed in.
