About our MUSIC
The band started at around 2003? 2004? Or possibly earlier. We're not to sure. The bands very first manifestation was not an organic and spontaneous as one might think, rather some of us were crudely forced into groups one music lesson at school and forced to write a song for a musical. As there are few Broadway shows called Redfall UK, its safe to say that the rest of the process was pretty much their own idea. The line up has stayed pretty much constant from those early years (apart from the departure of our rhythm guitarist Matt Bennett is 2005), however due to various circumstances we no longer attended the same school, which made the old practices a bit difficult. During this lull, we actually managed to become vaguely proficient at our instruments. However we persevered and we are still around, still writing, recording and gigging. It has been rather amazingly good fun, despite all the crap gigs leaving band member, occasional heated discussion, however it is a small price to pay. With new material being written that is getting progressively better, weirder, funkier, heavier, quieter, jazz-ier, and a whole of words that dont really go together and live shows that, to be fair, are more energetic than doing forty lines of coke and then having electricity pumped into your veins (whether the crowd know what is going on is often debatable, but at least we enjoy it). So that is Redfall UK (the UK is there because of legal reasons) in some form of nutshell. We do hope you enjoy the good music and frightfully entertaining videos we have on our website.
Much love
Redfall

Ok so we've rocked out in the studio with Mark and now we're just running through the mixes, designing artwork and trying to come up with a name! Who knew it'd be so difficult. As we're all very busy with uni work unfortunately we can't up the game and get more gigs on the go, but we will be playing for Rob's birthday party next month which should be kickass. When everything is sorted we'll let you all know!
Much love x
So here we are, a few days away from the studio. We've a nice new website which looks almost professional, a demo with which we are all keenly listening to and deciding pre production, and a brand new studio experience with Mark Aubrey. We're gonna take it to ATM Studios in Bristol this time and will hopefully bring sweet new sounds to a CD player or computer near you!
There wasn't really much point in this blurb (or whatever they're called) but I figured as we've a new website up and we're all very excited about the new EP, it was time for some words.
Much love, Redfall x x
Yes, after our fantastic reunion gig at Talking Heads in Southampton (Thank you to everyone who came and were involved), we're back up and running! Although it'll take a little while to get our gigs back up to speed we're on course with some new songs and a new EP in pre-production. It will feature a couple of old songs and a couple of new. One will be Noodle Street, the song we tried to put on Rift 1 but due to technical problems we had to replace with Days In December. Another will be Riffage 2: Return of the Riff, which has been a live song for quite some time. The two new songs will be Mr Messy and Raspberry Punch, which were performed at the reunion gig and I'm sure will be played in many more. We hope you grab a copy when it's out and enjoy it very muchly, as we're probably gonna take some time on it and the usual band studio banter...
So yeah... Thanks for your support and we hope to see you very soon! x
Due to the fact that three quarters of Redfall are off to various universities around the country and the other quarter is off to study music at ATM, we decided that allthough Redfall will still and always will exist a collective of friends who had perhaps the best time of their lives, we will not be gigging and being a band like normal. We played our last ever gig on the 1st of September 2007 in Weston Super Mare at Stotties Bar. Which was a fantastic gig and a brilliant send off. But we're still around. In spirit.
Its been one heck of a ride, a brilliant adventure and much more.
Who knows what the future may bring.
My, my....we are a bit late with updating this website. Mainly because Pete has lost the password! Anyway, lots of news:
Redfall returned to Mystic Jims and finally recorded three new tracks, which are sounding positvley amazing! Check the myspace for a listen
Gigs have been played are coming up! We played the Colstons Charity Rock gig last night, which was rather amazing, and we raised £460! YAY! A gig in Yate and one at the croft coming soon! Check the gigs page for more details.
So, after the failed mass suicide involving thirty thousand litres of Ribeana and a fridge in the wake of our A level results, Redfall found it prudent to contact Mystic Jim again. And so, were going back to the studio on the 30th September to record hopefully four new tracks! We hope you are excited as much as we are.
Hello
The recording sessions were amazing! We managed to get a really good sound out of it, even if the studio was situated in a disused spice factory with a boxing club below us and an indoor paintball arena above us! Jim was a great guy and helped us to get a great sound with what we had. Soon you will be able to hear amazing versions of "Captioned Yet Subliminal" and "Released" and the new track "Catherdral".
Hello,
As it is exam time and whatever, everyone kinda stressed in Redfall, but most importantly, we have sorting out aa recording session in a studio! We will be recording two tracks for your delight and delectation, so this new studio can test out its equipment. Look out to the horizon for soon to be released EP/Album thingy with shiny new tracks and other excitment.

Artikae are a four-piece pop-rock band from Bristol who we are very fond of and hope to play with again in the future
