The PROJECT 16:49 is not religious; is not political. It simply asks: "How do we love these kids?"
Our heart's desire is to create a shelter, a safe place, where our homeless and unaccompanied youth can go and KNOW they'll be both protected and cared about.
The PROJECT 16:49 CAPITAL CAMPAIGN launches in February 2011, to raise money for the establishment of the shelter for our homeless and unaccompanied Rock County teens!
Until the dream of a 24/7 shelter for our homeless and unaccompanied youth becomes a reality, there is much that can be done to support them NOW. Maybe you have time to be a mentor, a confidant to one of our teens. Maybe you have an extra bedroom where they'll be safe until their living situation is resolved. No matter the size or nature of your contribution, both your help and your ideas are much appreciated - and much needed.
Thank you for making a difference today!
