The complete instruction to achieve this has been provided below as for now there is now support for jailbreak on iPhone 4s and iPad 2 but it will support all other devices and firmwares up to iOS 5.0.1 and lower firmwares like iOS 4.1 and iOS 4.2.1 , iOS 4.0, iOS 4.0.1, iOS 4.0.2.

Steps to untethered jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 using Greenpois0n Absinthe Jailbreak Tool

Step One: First of all get the latest Greenpois0n Tool from http://www.greenpois0n.com. Click the Windows link or Mac as required

Step Two:Save it into your Desktop or any location you know

Step Three:Open your downloaded file and Unzip it and run greenpois0n.exe file by double clicking it and launch the application

Step Four: Now the actual process starts as now you need to Power off your iPhone then click the large Prepare to Jailbreak (DFU) button

Step Five: So follow the on Screen Demonstration to get your iPhone or iDevice into DFU mode or you can get the video For getting into DFU mode posted in the bottom of the Post.

Now You will be asked to press and hold the sleep button for 2 seconds.

Continue holding sleep and press and hold home for 10 seconds.

Release sleep button and continue holding home for 15 seconds.

Step Six: Once you are into DFU mode you click the Jailbreak button.

Step Seven: You need to have some patience now as Greenpois0n will now jailbreak your device

Step Eight: Once your Phone is successfully Jailbreakon Then Click the Quit button once the software application has completed.

Step Nine: You may restart your iPhone now and once you are done you’ll notice a new Loader application on your Springboard and simply Tap it to launch it.

Step Ten: Now you need to install Cydia select Cydia then press the large Install Cydia button that appears.

Step Eleven:
Once Cydia has installed successfully you can remove Loader from Options Button you can which is a Loader.app button.

Step Twelve: You are done and are in Final step so you may Restart your Phone Again and you are done..
