German Ford V3000S
Our Squad leader Oberscharfuhrer Lochner's German built Ford V3000S was featured in Classic Military Vehicles Magazine's Aug 08 edition.A very interesting piece of history behind this vehicle and a serious amount of restoration involved.A credit to Colm and an asset to the club.Colm is also in the process of restoring a Kublewagen with an even more interesting history.Details to follow as the project continues.Click on the link to read the article.

Springhill 2009
Springhill 2009 was thee best WW2 themed show that Springhill House has had to date.The battle field was prepared over the pervious days and weekends.Training was intense to get the battle right.Alot of effort and time went into making this one of the best WW2 themed battles this island has ever seen and thankfully everyone pulled it off very successfully.There are too many to thank for making this a great show,albeit a one day event,but special thanks go to Colm Lowery,John Murphy,John Crowe,John White,Gary Shannon,Jimmy McCreedy and ALL the guys in Frontline,WLHA,SGN & BGS for travelling all the way up from Cork.Also special thanks to the National Trust and Patrica who runs the house.
