Raw Anxiety Records
is a developing independent label based out of Scottsdale, Arizona. Our goal is to provide promising, unconventional, local artists with the opportunities to succeed.
We have chosen to offer "360 deals" in light of the changing music industry because in today's technology-heavy society, pirated music is a reality. We intend to change with the tide rather than swim against it. A "360 deal" is sometimes considered controversial, because it is a new response to new issues. Because recorded music revenues are continuing to plummet, this deal offers another alternative for the label and artist. Under this contract, our label will advance funds for merchandise, recording, promoting, touring, etc., and the label will recover a percentage out of all these domains, rather than just recorded music. This greatly benefits new, young, up-and-coming artists, because it gives the label a strong incentive to not only promote, but manage, nurture, and develop their talent.
R.A.R. very much values artist and fan interaction, and puts an emphasis on encouraging and developing incredible stage presence and performance. We believe that a band or individual who can interest a room, whether it be four people or 400, will be an artist people will pay for tickets to see, buy a t-shirt, download an album, and tell all their friends about.
