Company e, Second Maryland Infantry
The men of Company E, Second Maryland Infantry support the field music by providing color guards, drill and firing demonstrations, and "first person" presentations on the life of the Civil War Infantryman.
The goal of the Second Maryland Infantry is to educate the general public on the capabilities, accomplishments and experiences of the American Civil War Soldier in order to honor their sacrifices and preserve their memory.
This goal is not striclty limited to Civil War portrayals, as the men of Company E also participate in events that span nealry every era of American military history. Regardless of the era, the goal remains the same; educate the public and honor the memory and sacrifices of the American Soldier.
