Purim 2008
On Shushan Purim, after Chaverims mega purim party at the home of Mr & Mrs Shmuel Yosef Davidsohn, we were treated to a concert by Efraim Mendelson and Udi Ulman. The hall was packed - and for those of us who where there youve got to admit that it was the concert of a lifetime!!!
With world famous singers, an amazing band, and disco effects all over the hall, it was absolutely amazing!!! The dancing was also top notch, and the appearance of Shloime Gertner enhanced the evening as well. Congratulations to Shimon Levy who won the raffle at the end of the concert! He is now the proud owner of a beautiful silver Seder Plate!
Tikun Leil Shavuos 2008
Tikun Leil Shavuos was a real inspirational night for the Chaverim boys who came to learn in the Golders Green Centre.
Over 100 boys came to the centre to learn BChavrusa with each other and hear inspiring Shiurim from Reb Mendy Chissick and Reb Betzalel Schijverscurder who ran the evening.
The sound of Kol Torah was heard throughout the night as over 100 boys sat down and learned with each other. With the Ruach still running high from the learning, the Davening started and the entire Shacharis was led by the boys.
Lag Baomer 2008
A special Lag Baomer evening was arranged for the Chaverim boys that were parting to yeshiva. Hosted at Moat Mount Outdoor centre, with over 30 boys attending the evening was filled with good food, dancing and a good time held by all.
The evening ended off with a Lag Bomer bon-fire and a ruchniyosdica kumzitz in true Chaverim style that went on to the wee hours of the morning.
