Conservation districts are political subdivisions of the state of Arkansas. They are local government at work and their express responsiblity is soil and water conservation. All programs and services offered by Drew County Conservation District are offered on a nondiscriminatory basis.
Drew County Scholarship
The board annually offers one $1,000 scholarship to a Drew County graduating senior. If a sufficient number of quaity applications are recieved the board awards one $750 and one $500 scholarship.

Dave Ferguson Scholarship
The Drew County Board partners with the Arkansas Association of Conservation Districts to support the Dave Ferguson Scholarship. A new essay topic is chosen annually. The winning essay is awarded $250 at the county level. The area winner is awarded $500 and up to $1,000 at the state level.
The Youth Conservation Workshop is a week of fun, education, and time to experience nature. The district board sponsors students in grades 9-11.
The Conservation District sells ownership maps, plat books, e-books, and e-maps. Each item cost $60.
