The ladies of the Psi Mu Chapter of Chi Omega Fraternity would like to formally invite you to join us on February 11, 2012 at 8 am for our 4th Annual 5k run/walk Race Love Wish!
This year we have set a goal of $15,000 and with your help and support we know that we can make our goal and even surpass it!
The Make-A-Wish Foundation® traces its beginning to one boys wish. In 1980, 7-year-old Chris Greicius was being treated for leukemia. Every day, he dreamed of becoming a police officer. But he couldn't know that his wish would be the inspiration for the largest wish-granting organization in the world.

About Us Chi Omega 's Make-A-Wish
In the past, our chapter organized an annual golf tournament to raise money for this wonderful cause.
However, three years ago we thought we'd try something a little different. Since it's inaugural year, our Race-Love-Wish 5K has raised nearly $30,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation!
This year we raised $10,614.96. We receive donations from families, friends, local buisnesses, and of course through the registration of each of our runners.
We are so proud of this accomplishment and of the many participants from UCF Greek Life and the surrounding community. We look forward to carrying this new tradition and can't wait to see how our event continues to grow!

Register Now! Sketch When and where is Race Love Wish?
Saturday, February 11th, 2012, at the Reflection Pond on the UCF campus. Registration begins at 8 am and the race will begin at 9 am.
This year we will be having a childrens fun run!!
$5 for children ages 5-12 years old 1/2 mile run How much is it to participate?
The entry fee is $20 up until February 10th and $25 on the day of the race. All participants will receive a Race Love Wish t-shirt, complimentary drinks, breakfast foods, and snacks will also be provided after the race Awards

Greek Competition Coming together to make Wishes Come True
1)In the Race
Have at least 4 of your members run or walk in the race for 40 points. Any additional race participant from your organization will receive 15 points each. 2)Support Team
Rewarded for showing you support of Chi Omega and Make-A-Wish throughout the week before the race, and on race day. The breakdown is as follows:
Getting people to register for the race other than those in your organization (family members, friends, etc.) Make sure they also list your name and organization. 8 points Displaying posters, banners, and car-tags during the week of Race Love Wish. 5 points Each member of your organization that is present and signs in on race day will receive 3 points We will also be tabling in front of the union the week of Race Love Wish. For 50¢ you will be able to sign our banner and receive 1 point per signature. The money will also go towards you teams total. 3)Partial - Proceeds Night TBD
4)Donations
•It takes a lot of money to grant one wish for a child. Because we want this to be our most successful philanthropy yet, donations arent required, but greatly appreciated. Donations can be from local businesses, local organizations, family, friends, or out of pocket. Attached will be a donation letter, explaining the philanthropy and that this is a TAX RIGHT OFF for the donors. Every donation matters. Points for this will be:
$4 - $10 5 points
$11 - $25 10 points
$26 - $50 15 points
$51 - $75 20 points
$76 - $100 25 points
Over $100 35 points
