Kim, the force behind Qustom Queen, began customizing clothing in her early teens and after a stint at college studying clothing and textiles and working for Ralph Lauren, she first took a brush to a pair of shoes shortly after the birth of her daughter (2003) as a way of passing time while stuck indoors, and has never looked back. Since being crowned Best Customizing Designer at the UK Urban Fashion Awards (2007), Qustom Queen has gained worldwide acclaim for her artwork on sneakers, heels and everything inbetween.
