If you are looking for the highest standard of handmade luxury macarons in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire then you need look no further. With many years of experience we have regular customers. Mummy's produce a wide variety of flavours of macarons, and all come boxed.

Macarons
These small, round cakes, crisp on the outside, smooth and soft in the middle, are made to order. They are perfect as a wedding favour or on mass as an unusual and quite stylish wedding cake. Typically we make 8 flavours depending on the time of year - we love them!
The History of the Macaron
Although predominantly a French confection, there has been much debate about its origins. Larousse Gastronomique cites the macaron as being created in 791 in a convent near Cormery. Some have traced its French debut back to the arrival of Catherine de' Medici's Italian pastry chefs whom she brought with her in 1533 upon marrying Henry II.
In the 1830s, macarons were served two-by-two with the addition of jams, liqueurs, and spices. The macaron as it is known today was called the "Gerbet" or the "Paris macaron" and is the creation of Pierre Desfontaines of the French pâtisserie Ladurée, composed of two almond meringue discs filled with a layer of buttercream, jam, or ganache filling.

It's your box - so you can have what you like, there are just some examples of different flavours to help you. We only use free range Organic eggs in our macarons (from our own hens!)

Our boxed macarons come as mixed flavours. If you would like one flavour then please ask. We can make our macarons in different quantities - just ask!. We also make Macaron Wedding Cake Towers.

All of our macarons are boxed and sent in a suitable package for transport in the postal system so that the product arrives with you on perfect condition whenever possible. We usually require 5 days notice before the required delivery date to guarantee a delivery. The macarons should be kept refrigerated (or can be frozen) and will keep fresh for around 7 days.
About us
We first came accross macarons whilst on holiday in France. Lynne has been a patisserie chef for over 20 years, and had made some macarons in her restaurant career. Mummy's was born out of a passion for fine ingredients and making people (and us) happy. We absolutely love food, and food loves us! We are always looking for ideas and inspiration from different countries and regions.
Our favourite time of day for food has always been tea time, highlights include the fabulous Dorchester - High Tea is as good as it gets. SO it made sense to go into a business that focused on patisserie, quality and beautiful products. We hope you love our macarons as much as we do.
