New Website - 11th May 2009
At last my creation is complete XD
Summer holidays are soon approaching! So hopefully I shall be re-opening my commisshions for those 6 weeks :)
Also been thinking of selling some of my costumes and original work on Ebay or Etsy, so look out for any announcements made on this page or in my Deviantart journal.
About the artist
Collette June Ellis (or purpleglovez as she is known on the internet) is a self taught artist
who enjoys exploring different types of art. Ever since the age of two Collette has been
doodeling and creating. Collette learned how to draw by reading artbooks and observing
other artists to help her develop her own style.
Ever since she was a child Collette has been facinated with mythology and nature. Her
favourate books as a child being "The Hobbit" by J R R Tolkien and "Charlie and the
Chocolate Factory" by Roal Dahl. Her work is greatly influenced by artists such as Tim Burton
and Jhonen Vasquez.
With a love of fantasy, animals and design Collette's goal is to become a conceptual
designer for movies and TV to design costumes, characters, props and sets.
