Welcome to Christmas Island...Diving Christmas Island is a truly magical experience. With visibility often up to 50m and water temperatures between 26-30 degrees all year round... we are very lucky. Not to mention the diverse range of things to see under the water and on the land. Under the water...The warm Indian Ocean waters surrounding CI, is home to a diverse range of creatures great and small. From the tiny Nudi-branch to the massive Whaleshark... they can all be found here. Flying Fish Cove, central to the community of Christmas Island is the home to Sea Horses, Turtles, Giant Moray Eels, Octopus, Lion Fish, and Napoleon Wrasse to name but a few. Regular visits from our friendly pelagic’s and Giant Stingrays are always a welcomed sight. You never know what you are going to see on a dive here.... every dive is different and you should always expect the unexpected. On the land...Christmas Island is most well known for its crabs.... and we have millions of them! Red Crabs, Blue Crabs and Robber Crabs to name just a few of the species found here. The famous Red Crab Migration normally falls September to November time.... a magical sight in itself. In addition to the crabs, Christmas Island has a fabulous rainforest which is ready to be explored by all those adventurous enough. Rainforest tracks often lead to a rewarding view point or mysterious waterfall or cave system to explore. You might even be lucky enough to see some of our beautiful birds, such as the Golden Bosun. At ProScuba CI we are passionate about the underwater world, and we love sharing this amazing experience with everyone who is keen to get wet! We are fully insured and know all the best dive sights around Christmas Island. We are both registered and associated with PADI - the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. For further information about PADI, please visit www.Padi.com All of our equipment is new and fully serviced. We have a wide variety of underwater equipment including underwater cameras, torches and we’re the only operator on the island to have a stock of DPV’s (Diver Propulsion Vehicles), for that extra bit of underwater fun! Our aim is to train new divers to high standards of safe diving, allowing them to safely enjoy the amazing natural wonders of the ocean and of course to have lots of fun in the process.

Alternatively you can extend your diving knowledge and experience by completing one of our Speciality Courses.... develop your diving knowledge and experience, have fun and dive Christmas Island – all at the same time!For those whiching to take their diving to higher levels, we can also train you to the PADI Professional level of Dive Master.All guided dives and training are available in a group or on a one-to-one basis.If you would like any additional information about diving with ProScuba CI please do get in touch.
Meet the team
Jason Goodwill
Jason qualified as a PADI Instructor, following several years as a PADI Dive Master.Jason has a passion for Wreck diving and has dived wrecks all over the world. His favourite wreck diving destination being Malta, Europe. By trade Jason is an Engineer and Property Developer, but prefers to spend his time diving whenever he can. Lexi and Jason moved to Christmas Island in 2010, to pursue their diving dreams and aspirations.
Lexi Gibson
Lexi is a qualified PADI Dive Master and DSD (Discover Scuba Diving). Like Jason, Lexi has dived all around the world, including Vancouver Canada, Europe and Egypt. Lexi loves the diving around Christmas Island.... and gets wet on every available opportunity. "The diving around Christmas Island is just magical, you never know what you're going to see on a dive.... from friendly sharks, turtles, beautiful fish of all shapes and sizes.... and not forgetting my favourite - the Whaleshark" .In addition to Lexi's passion for diving, she is also a keen underwater photographer. Lexi also is a qualified Horse riding Instructor....although there is not much call for this on Christmas Island.
