We are a group of students from Hwa Chong Institution who started this project. The main thing that sparked our interests was when we found out that there is still ONE more village left in Mainland Singapore.
We believe that many teenagers nowadays would be interested to find out more about Singapore's heritage, of what's happening in the past. But there is still a lack of awareness about Singapore's heritage, and what was made of in the past. Therefore, we decided to embark on this project to find out more about Kampung Lorong Buangkok and the heritage of Singapore.
We are also working with the National Heritage Board (NHB) to spread awareness about Lorong Buangkok.
Our Service Goals
Raise Awareness about Singapore's Heritage through the study of Kampong Lorong Buangkok and educate the younger generation the meaning and importance of "Kampong Spirit"

Learn how to carry out exhibition and presentations to primary school students, through teamwork and communication
