Sounds for the City, Brick City Records' first compilation disc, features the talent of some of Athens' finest musicians. An eclectic mix, Sounds for the City has elements of alternative, indie, hip hop, hard rock, and much more!Many songs found on the compilation are not available elsewhere. Sounds for the City was produced by the Brick City Records executive board for the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 school years. Many of the bands still play in and around Athens. 75% of the profit made from sales of Sounds for the City will go to The Gathering Place of Athens, Ohio.
