What's Happening
Meeting Info
The PTA meets monthly in the Forest Hill Elementary School Auditorium. Monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month (any exceptions are noted on calendar)
Babysitting is provided at no charge for the school age children of PTA attendees. Younger children are welcome in the meeting. Attending PTA meetings is one sure way to keep informed as to what is happening at Forest Hill and to voice your opinions and suggestions.
Join The PTA!
Join the PTA today and help Forest Hill give every child a voice through the Forest Hill PTA! Membership is only $15.00 (or 2 for $25) but the rewards are many. Click on "Ways to Give" above or look for membership flyers in the school office.

Mission Statement
The mission of Forest Hill Elementary PTA is to enhance the educational experience of children and their families as well and establish a sense of community to all who attend Forest Hill Elementary School . This year more than ever, our schools are challenged to provide every child with the best education. Budgets are tight while government requirements are growing forcing many schools to limit enrichment programs. Schools are challenged to do more with less.

Forest Hill Elementary Needs Your Support
2011-2012 DIRECT DONATION CAMPAIGN
Forest Hill PTAs primary fundraiser is our Direct Donation Campaign, which allows 100% of donations to go directly to Forest Hill PTA . This is an effective and hassle free way for parents, family, and friends to support our school. There is NO SELLING! No peddling of wrapping paper, candy, magazine subscriptions, etc., just requests to assist our school.
Benefits
Direct Donation provides many benefits to Forest Hill. There is no overhead so every penny donated goes directly to supporting programs to enrich our childrens education. Our campaign raises money for the classrooms, teacher supplies, art programs, assemblies, science night, the school garden, partial funding for field trips, school social events, and much, much more.
Goal
Our goal is to raise $35,000 this fall. With 100% participation we can reach this goal. Donate what you can to affirm your support of our teachers and students in their educational goals. We suggest a $100 per child donation. Be sure to check with your employer as many companies offer a matching gift to make your donated funds go even further. Attached is a donation form and envelope. Please return to the school office or your childs teacher. Remember, your donation is tax deductible.

Watch for the giant goal-setting thermometer, which will be located outside the school office. Let your children know when we reach our goal of $35,000 , Mrs. Khalid will have an Ice Cream Party for the entire school!
