Welcome to Football South Burnett. Our association encompasses, Murgon, Wondai, Kingaroy, Nanango, Yarraman and Blackbutt. Previously known as South Burnett Soccer Association we cover all age groups from juniors to senior men and woman at all levels. Although a small association, FSB aims to offer players the comparable opportunities to the larger areas. FSB is part of the South West Queensland Zone.

Football South Burnett will be holding its
EVOLUTION SOLAR SOCCER SEVENS
once again on
SATURDAY 25th and SUNDAY 26th FEBRUARY 2012
.
The venue this year will be again at the Kingaroy Senior Soccer Club grounds off
Oliver Bond Street, (same venue as in 2011), using three 7 A-Side fields.
The format will be: 2011 Nomination Fees are:
20 MENS TEAMS (4 GROUPS OF 5) MENS TEAMS $150.00 PER TEAM
15 WOMENS TEAMS (2 GROUPS OF 6) WOMENS TEAMS $120.00 PER TEAM
8 OVER 35 MENS (2 GROUPS OF 4) OVER 35 MENS $90.00 PER TEAM
(There will be no refunds for late withdrawals)

to avoid disappointment.
PLEASE NOTE:
Nomination fees MUST accompany the nomination form or you can
direct deposit to our account. (Please confirm by email the date of your direct deposit).
There will be no refunds for late withdrawals.
We remind visiting teams that you are required to obtain a TRAVEL PERMIT from your
Club/Zone to be covered by the FQ Insurance, all players must be FFA registered.
(The Rego ID No. is to be listed on the Team Registration Sheet prior to competing).
No responsibility will be taken by Football South Burnett or Kingaroy Senior Soccer Club
for any claims arising from injury while playing at our carnival from any player or official.
Regretfully we have a shortage of Referees in our region, so we are asking visiting teams
to supply suitably qualified Referees. Please forward names and contact details A.S.A.P.
(PLEASE NOTE: If we do not have sufficient Referees
,
the carnival may have to be scaled down.)

We will need to kick off games on
Saturday morning at 10.00am
(where possible using local teams for the first hour). Last games on Saturday will finish by 6.00pm. Sunday games will commence at 8.00am (sorry, it’s the same as last year’s carnival). With these figures, time frames and your cooperation, we are confident that everything will run smoothly and the last game of the day on Sunday will be the Men’s Final at 3.00pm (or earlier if possible).
Nominations will be accepted on a first come, first accepted basis until all nomination places are filled. Based on last year’s carnival, all nominations were filled BEFORE Christmas. Nominations
will not be accepted after 13th JANUARY 2012 unless there are still vacancies.
We expect to receive more entries than we have room for, so please return your entry forms and the appropriate fees A.S.A.P to avoid disappointment, either by post or email. Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
There will be some shade tents provided, but we are asking visiting teams to bring their own.

SOUTH BURNETT REFEREES
South Burnett Referees are a branch of Football South Burnett and an major part of the
competition. Our referees are of various levels and are all FFA affiliated.
Our Association offers various training courses annually and is always looking out for new
blood in our refereeing ranks. Refereeing is not everybody's cup of tea but if you are interested,
please contact us, we would be truley grateful to have you aboard.
Refereeing is a great way for ex-players to keep in touch with the game and we would appreciate

Refs Courses
The next level 4 (Entry level) Referees course is due to be held 18th & 19th February. We must have enough numbers to proceed. Please contact Martin Stern if interested. If we have insufficient numbers the course can be done in Toowoomba, dates to follow.
