About Us

Pre-Nursing Leaders is a student organization that serves as an advisory board which aims to bring the Pre-Nursing student body together. The Pre-Nursing Leaders Student Organization encourages and coordinates activities to facilitate pre-nursing student involvement in both service and leadership activities around campus, as well as in the local community. Other goals include assisting pre-nursing students in becoming familiar with the nursing profession, in addition serving as a liaison between Pre-Nursing students and the Florida State University Student Nurses Association. Some of our previous service projects include mentoring children at the Boys and Girls Club of the Big Bend and volunteering with the Special Olympics of Leon County. We also participated in campus wide events such as the Light the Night walk and the Big Event. Past events organized include the “Nursing 411” info session on nursing school and several fundraisers to benefit local agencies.Current members are required to maintain a 3.0 GPA and be committed to volunteering (specific number of hours to be determined) each semester.
