Home Welcome...to the website of our tea rooms, a former Post Office in a Georgian colonade, next to the iconic 1930s landmark "Marine Court". We are open Wed - Sun, 10.30am - 4.00pm., except 23 Jan - 7 Feb, inclusive. We also run special evening events from time to time as well as hosting our Knitting Nights - take a look at our evening events page for more information. We do hope you'll come & join us in lovely, sunny St Leonards on Sea very soon. Just look out for the old pillar box right outside.

Its like a book club, but with food to enjoy & absolutely no preperation required. Good home cooked food & a very warm St Leonards style welcome are what is on the menu. FRIDAY NIGHT IS FONDUE NIGHT6 JanFeeling cheesey? Until the Spring, Post Office Tea Rooms will be cooking up a feast of fromage, with a different recipe each month. Weve scoured the charity emporiums of St Leonards for fondue sets and liberated neglected table top cookers from the dusty drawers of friends & family, in order to bring you Friday Night is Fondue Night.Each delicious pan of cheesy loveliness will be accompanied by a selection of Judges Bakery organic breads, crudités & grissini. Dinner will kick off with a light (cheese free!) starter and conclude with a refreshing dessert. It is always a set menu, so no choices on the night, except for a vegetarian option, if booked in advance. Let us know of any allergies, dislikes or veggie needs. Sorry - we cant do vegan fondue though! KNITTING NIGHTSAs mentioned in The Independent on Sunday - click on the pattern above to read the article. Every Thursday 6.30pm-8.30pm£3.50 per week, includes tea or coffee & cakeJoin us for an evening of knitting, tea, cake & chat. Whether you want to learn how or have a knitting problem, come on down – expert knitters will be on hand to share their knowledge.Knitting Knights (men) will be made very welcome – David, your host for the evening, was taught to knit this year, by one of our customers.

By Road

We are right on the seafront, which is the main coast road, the A259. If coming from Eastbourne or Bexhill, keep the sea on the right, from Rye, Hastings etc keep it on the left, & you won't go far wrong!

By Train

We are 5 minutes from

St Leonards Warrior Square Station, which is on the Eastbourne - Hastings line.

By Bus

The 99 from Eastbourne or Hastings stops outside Marine Court. Many other local buses pass right outside - check with Traveline.
