You can’t fluff your morning eggs without a bit of milk! The comparison to cookery is the perfect example of how creativity can get messy. Canvas Cow Art Studio encourages a mess of experimenting in art. Our classes teach the techniques and views of many modern and post modern artists. We paint, we sketch, and we mix our mediums. We moo over techniques to discover that each of us is MORE artistic than they ever imagined! Join us!

Jackie Chan BUILD A SCHOOL IN CHINA WITH JACKIE CHAN!
Join THE ORIGINALS and help Jackie Chan's Dragon Heart charity build schools for needy children in the remote areas of China. Just follow these (5) steps:
1. Take your own dollar bill and tape it onto a piece of drawing paper.
2. The dollar billwill become the main building of a school.
3. Draw, Paint or Color around that dollar. See our sample pictures below.
4. If you want your photo included in our e-book, "A Girl Named Mei", take a photo of your artwork and email it
to us to pam_canvascowstudio.com . DEADLINE: AUGUST 31, 2012! The e-book will be sent to Jackie Chan.
5. Put your finished artwork with the dollar into an envelope and mail it directly to Jackie Chan at:

Jackie matches each dollar he receives to build a school for needy children in remote areas of China.
*Please do not send school supplies or any other goods.
SUPPLIES! Acrylic paints, various sized brushes, black sharpie marker, 8"x10" canvas panels... at least 3-5 panels because the students will do more than one piece if they wish. I am limiting the size of canvas panels so that all pieces have uniform look. I get my supplies at WalMart or Michaels.
Each student will receive an e-book and contact info where a printed book may be purchased. :) What a gift!
Parents will be asked to sign an art release form on the first night of class.
I have the ONE form for all parents to sign. ( Less paperwork for me!)
Class Schedule Art Classes for Fall 2012
Canvas Cow Studios is proud to offer their third year of art classes for students ages 9 and up. Students will learn about various artists’ styles and works. We will explore different mediums including sculpting, painting, drawing and more. This year Canvas Cow will give students the opportunity to become a published illustrator!

Mondays 10-11:30am or 4:30-6pm 7:00-9:00pm
Whenever possible, I'm in contact with the artist we are studying and they are usually "on board" with the lessons offering step by step instructions and positive feedback. Below are some of those artists:

Sign up Class size is limited so sign up early!
Send an email letting me know what class you'd like to attend. Be sure to include the name(s) of the student attending, their age, grade, and your contact information. I will respond with a confirmation of enrollment, directions to my home and payment information. I accept cash, checks or credit cards. You can pay at the first class.
