About Me
Currently a twenty year old amateur artist, I first enlisted into the art scene when my artistically-inclined father recognized my eye for color and composition in the quality-lacking photographs I had taken at age twelve using a camcorder's camera function. Luckily I have managed to acquire better equipment since then and have improved immensely.
I enjoy taking photographs of flowers the most, especially in macro, because there are so many ways to portray their color and beauty through the different angles and lighting.
In drawing portraits, I am self taught. While I realize that some of my techniques are crude, I like to think that I get the job done. Even this crude method gives me my own style, as my father pointed out that each of my portraits look fairly cohesive.
As for my lemon comics, most come to me through daily conversation or things I see on television that would be humorous if warped. The lemon character originated in playing the Drawing Game on jippii.com with friends.
