About Abirami.k
Abirami.k has written 18 books in Tamil and English.
Her motive is to write and inform the Indian youths especially the rural students.
Her books on computer and I.T in Tamil are well received by the Tamil youths of our southern villages, for the books simplicity of language and clarity on the subject. Abirami has also written books specializing on advertising, media and journalism. These too were greatly appreciated by not only city youths but also the rural readers of all age group.
Her latest ventures are into philosophy and self-development. She is particular on reaching out to the young minds and inculcate positive attitude in them.
The author has also written a childrens novel- pachai maram onnu focusing on environmental awareness - deforestation.
Among her works, seithiye swasamai ( a biographical attempt on the lives of some very ethical and socially committed journalists) has won the award for best book from the Tamil journalists association.
Her book learn to learn an unusual book on learning/studying has attracted the attention of many students along with her book on IAS exam.

Abirami.k the young author is the grand daughter of the famous tamil author Akilan.
