KATRINA CHIZEK, 2ND year apprentice
Katrina is thrilled to be back at the Barn to help celebrate the 64th season! You may remember her last season as Madame Thenardier in LES MISERABLES in WEST SIDE STORY, and in RENT. Past credit favorites include Rizzo in GREASE, Gloria Rasputin in BYE-BYE BIRDIE, Wendy Joe in FOOTLOOSE and Crystal in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Katrina will be completing her degree in Theatre this fall at Cal State Fullerton. She grew up in Plymouth, Michigan and is excited to be back in her home state for the summer once again. She would like to thank her supportive family, friends, and this year’s fantastic Barn family and the many Wonderful Patrons for their continued support. You're the best! Enjoy the season.
PATRICK HUNTER, 2ND year intern
Patrick is entering his senior year in Ithaca College’s Musical Theatre Program. Barn credits include Grantaire in LES MIS, A-Rab in WEST SIDE STORY, The Corporal in SHENANDOAH, and Gordon in RENT. Other favorite roles include Homer in FLOYD COLLINS, Officer Barrell in URINETOWN, Husband in HELLO, AGAIN, Sam in THE WILD PARTY, and Woyzeck in Tom Waits’ WOYZECK. Patrick is also a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy.
ALEX KIP, 2ND year intern
Alex Kip is so excited to return to the Barn Theatre for another great season! Last season he was seen in LES MISÉRABLES (Enjorlas), WEST SIDE STORY (Bernardo), and SHENANDOAH (James Anderson). He will be a senior next year at The University of Michigan, completing his BFA in Musical Theatre. He also studied abroad at The London Dramatic Academy with RADA trained faculty. Michigan credits include: PLAYING FOR TIME (Captain Heinz, grand opening of the Arthur Miller Theater), 42ND STREET (Mac), CAROUSEL (Ensemble/Featured Soloist), and NIGHT OF THE FIGHTS (Forester Petrovich). Weathervane Playhouse credits include: SOUTH PACIFIC (Lieutenant Cable), RAGTIME (Younger Brother), BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (Gaston), THE MUSICAL COMEDY OF MURDERS OF 1940 (Eddie), and SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD (Man 2 u/s). KATIE MACK, 2ND year intern
KTMACK is very psyched for this season at The Barn! She is a recent graduate of Columbia College of Chicago where she was last seen in THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE. Special thanks to Brendan and Penelope for this awesome opportunity. A salute to Team Danger & the city of Chicago, and of course the biggest thank you to my parents and brothers for their endless and continued support. Oh… and Jacob Carlson.
ERIC MORRIS, 2ND year intern
Eric is thrilled to be back at The Barn for a second year after taking a one year hiatus. Last summer, Eric performed the roles of Jimmy Powers in CITY OF ANGELS, and Giuseppe Nacarelli in THE LIGHT IN PIAZZA for the Heritage Theatre Festival in Charlottesville, VA. Two summers ago, Barn patrons may remember him as The Lead Tenor in THE PRODUCERS, a Donkey Delinquent in GEPETTO AND SON, and Matt in SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS. Eric is an up and coming SENIOR at Ithaca College where he is a BFA Musical Theatre Major. At Ithaca, Eric has played Burrs in Lippa’s THE WILD PARTY, Jerry in THE FULL MONTY, The Senator in HELLO, AGAIN, Mr. McQueen in URINETOWN, and an ensemble member of THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO. Eric is from Hamilton, OH, and is thankful his family can travel here to support him. Thanks Brendan and Penel for an invite back!
KEVIN WHITE, 3RD year intern, Rehearsal Shed Pianist/Bar Show Music Director
Kevin is elated to join the Barn Company for a third season. Kevin holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Millikin University where he graduated last May. On the Barn stage, audiences may remember his performances as Mark in RENT, Riff in WEST SIDE STORY, Max in LEND ME A TENOR, and Boy, Robert Newman’s youngest son in SHENANDOAH. Kevin is also Music Director and Pianist for the famous Bar Show after the performance. Thanks again to his wonderful grandparents, his entire extended family for their love and support, and his parents for being amazing.
