His recent work includes Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Design by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences in 2011.

His original music can be heard on soundtracks alongside Amon Tobin, Chemical Brothers, LMFAO, and Bassnectar.

Nominated early on for "Best DJ" , "Best Electronica" , and "Keyboardist of the Year" in Houston, the Austin-based audio developer is on the move with hot video games in production plus cool new music from Mushroom Lounge.

He slept in a gutar case as a baby and played on his first published record at age 5.Levon appeared in Newsweek Magazine for break-dancing the same year his dad's new-wave band opened for Duran Duran.His first electronic band, Lunatex, was a top-10 artist on early digital music giant Mp3.com, and performed with a who's who of DJ royalty from Juan Atkins to Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC.Levon has rocked Austin's SxSW, also WMC in Miami, plus clubs and one-off dance events across the USA and Canada.From music to gamesLevon was touring as a live electronica artist and making beats for a rap studio in Houston when Microsoft appraoched him to license his latest music for the first generation of Xbox games.Following several game music licensing deals Levon expanded into sound effects design and voice production for games, and eventually landed an in-house position at Midway: Los Angeles.From there, Levon worked on projects for Shiny, The Collective, and also Soundelux in Hollywood, before relocating to Canada to manage audio production at Behaviour (formerly A2M) and a couple years later, Ubisoft.Coming HomeWIth nearly four years spent working abroad and four in SoCal behind him, Levon returned home to Texas in 2011 to resume work as an independent developer, in game audio and beyond!Currently Levon is working on, among other games, an epic remake of a Sci-Fi classic he just can't wait to tell you about but if you go to Timegate Studios website, you can figure it out.He still makes music and is the creator of Mushroom Lounge, found on the InGrooves label, and on compilation soundtracks alongside iconic artists Bassnectar and Chemical Brothers.Video Game Remix is his latest fun thing, fusing fresh beats with sounds and music from games, serving up a stylized DJ performace at industry events... and occassionally elsewhere.Rumor has it Levon Louis is also hatching an indie games company of his own... watch for Headrush Games in 2012.

For nearly a decade, Levon Louis has produced sounds, music, and voices for all types of video games.His work is synonymous with quality, resulting of award nominations from all the major factions, and impressing gamers with awesome audio content!It started when Microsoft began to license his music for early XBOX games and evolved into a kick-ass full-time thing.He was the Audio Director for Ubisoft in Quebec City where his role at the studio expanded into creative writing.Levon continues to create compelling audio for games and recently joined forces with Funky Rustic in Austin to take on large-scale projects together.In addition to audio, Levon is working on original game concepts as a writer and creative director for indie games.

Nominated by the Academy Awards (AIAS) in 2011 for "Outstanding Achievement in Sound Design", Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is a triumph, and one of the most loved games for its generation of console.One of the missions Levon directed is featured in a video on this page -->Ubisoft's Quebec City studio selected Levon to help outfit a new recording facility, train and lead their team, and participate in not only the direction of sound and music, but also contribute to inventing story and game concepts for the AC franchise and across other internal projects.While with Ubisoft, Levon drove the creation of a Global Audio Advisory Panel and was also elected its Audio Ambassador to establish production quality standards across all studios.

Wet: a grindhouse game!
When Levon Louis was offered to direct the sounds, music, and voicing for a "grindhouse-style" game, he jumped at the chance... it meant that he would relocate from Los Angeles to Montreal, and lead with autonomy.Artificial Mind & Movement (Behavior Interactive) essentially gave Levon "carte blanche" to make their game come alive, to take chances, and to push in unconventional directions as this was the tone of the project itself.Before the end, Levon would not only deliver a memorable musical score, stylized sound effects treatment, and award-level direction of the voices but also authored the hero backstory and most of the in-game dialog.For the music, Levon collaborated with members of known bands in Los Angeles - and put together the first and only rockabilly game soundtrack featuring a the best indie bands from that oh so rockin' scene.

Silent Hill: Homecoming
Managing the audio for The Golden Compass (Shiny) AND the audio for Silent Hill: Homecoming (Collective) at the same time meant very little sleep for Levon Louis.This was probably a good thing since working on this suspenseful, horrific, supernatural thriller meant exposure to hours upon hours of murder and torture scenes, demented monsters, and other creepy crawly stuff... so he would not have good sleep anyway.In the end, the first chapter of this epic franchise to be made in the USA was an creative success, and the game's audio was very well-received.Levon personally created a bulk of the combat and gore sounds while overseeing the audio department during the development of the title.Eventually, he did get some sleep...

When Levon moved to Los Angeles in 2005 his band, Lunatex, ended. It did not seem proper to carry on the name as a solo act, so Absynthesis was created as a new, solo vehicle.A new name meant a fresh start and free to explore new sounds, Levon added vocals, guitars, and cinematic edge to the beats.Levon worked out personal demons through his music during this time, and so the bulk of the debut album is dark and emotive.The single, "Real Lives", resonated with the alternative electronic scene, sending ripples through the waters and resulting in global recognitions.Absynthesis continues to be a name for indie-electronica, dark beats, and experimental music including noise and "hardstyle" dubstep excursions.A new album is in the works for 2012, promising to be "Apocalyptic".

He can play several intstruments, and since grade school has been a part of bands of all shapes and sizes from Punk to Metal, Reggae, and Electronic.Levon sets the stage on fire with live musicianship, and has set instruments on fire while playing them.From Montreal to Miami, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and in-between Levon has performed his music live for thousands of people at events and clubs.Levon took live performance to the dubstep arena in 2010, joining forces with Canadain DJ E1000 as one half of the live dubstep duo Poison & Dagger. His solo stage material is likewise a dub-oriented blend of electro, breaks, dubstep and world-ethnic sounds, presented as a one-man electronic band.With no laptop in site...In addition to live music, Levon performas as a DJ with high levels of technical manipulation and skill while presenting original beats and clever remixes.

Together with Brian LeBarton of Beck and engineer Daryl Thorpe (Radiohead / Outkast) Levon produced the highly acclaimed original music for "Wet" at Henson Studios, live in Los Angeles.
