Big Boys Should Cry joins forces with the Mental Wealth Project
The Big Boys Should Cry campaign is now working in partnership with The Mental Wealth Project which is spear headed by Leeds University student Edward Pinkney.
Together we have produced a communication strategy which details how other students can develop a campaign similar to ours. Using Eddy's large network of counselling services across the U.K, we intend to inspire groups of students to "Do something amazing!" by starting a campaign to improve the quality of life for their univeristy peers or their local community.
The project is being tested in ten universities and the aim is to have the campaign in 50 universities by the end of 2010.
Edward Pinkney said: "We have been working with the Big Boys Should Cry team to develop a detailed how to guide for these kind of standalone student-led initiatives. It will contain everything from generating ideas, implementation, promotion, PR & making a sustainable impact. We hope the guide will lay the foundations for students to do something amazing!"
