Central Young Community Mission Statement, "Young Adults = the Backbone of the Church"
a. Spiritual Nurturing: We hope for every member's deep spiritual nurturing through communal meal and prayer, fellowship, praise and worship, sports, and the Spirit.
b. Community Building: We are the community of Christ, not separate individuals. We dream of building a strong faith community through the sincere devotion to each other and Christ.
c. Evangelism: We pray for all young adults living in Connecticut to come together to meet Christ and enjoy our joyful fellowship in this ever-open young community.
Young Lion/Lioness Community
The young spirit of brave lions and lionnesses is the spiritual symbol of our community. Indeed, Jesus is depicted as the Lion in the Bible. We are young, energetic, positive, and brave. Let this young spirit flow into our lives and community all the way to the whole world!
