Patrick Galang was introduced to fashion as a young designer with a highly calculated vision. A Filipino born and self taught designer has already become known as one of the best new designers in Manila. His color blocked clothes that fused an eclectic mix of clever cutting and relaxed silhouettes have been appreciated by style hunters since his debut in 2008, followed up by a collection entitled "Traces" that produced dark anthology of dresses inspired of centipedes which translated into a sense of modern confidence, conveying strength and sensuality. It was achieved by using zippers as his chief material that also conceived new silhouettes and shapes that were of extreme modernity. His works have already been featured in local TV shows and magazines including Preview and Mega. His design aesthetics explore the potential of fashion as communicating a style that is strong and independent. Having been graced as one of the young designers to watch out for, Patrick is more than ready to unleash his vision.
Currently based in Manila, Patrick also continues to freelance for editorial publications, styling and consultations, with experience in assisting commercials, print ad and fashion shows.
