Our Story 
2008 - The Outsource Resource was created out of a need to help people “in transition” due to layoff to find affordable healthcare when COBRA options were not feasible. At the time, many companies were experiencing huge layoffs; unemployment was at an all-time high. Frustrated, employees, now back in the market, faced a dire concern: keeping insurance coverage while looking for work or retraining for a new career. It was quickly deduced that keeping COBRA for many was not an option. We soon uncovered a niche in being a resource to those who had no one else to turn to; an advocate in securing additional information channels so that lives could continue with less bumps in the road. Since then, The Outsource Resource, LLC was created in 2009 and grew to accommodate small business owners as a client-based “virtual benefits management” firm, offering products and services “a la cart” to meet the budget needs of the small business employer and its employees”.
