The Orlando Scorpions are the premier travel baseball program in the State of Florida. Founded by Sal Lombardo 16 years ago, the Scorpions strive to enrich young players life's both on and off the baseball diamond.
Our goals are twofold:
(1) to provide an avenue for players to showcase their abilites in front of professional and college scouts alike while teaching the game of baseball throughout the process
(2) to create a positive environment where players can mature as individuals ensuring a well-rounded balance between baseball, family, and school
The Scorpion Family has been blessed over the years to have many elite level players move onto the next level of their careers. We will continue to strive to do things "the right way", by playing the game 100% and paying attention to the little things.
Our coaching staff is both experienced and dedicated and we are unified under one common goal: providing our players and families an opportunity to enjoy the game of baseball in a way they never have before.

The Orlando Scorpions main goal at the 13U and 14U level is DEVELOPMENT. We feel that too many players and parents at this age are focused on winning tournaments instead of preparing for the next level. Although we will always strive to win, our main goal will be to prepare our players for the next level.
Our 13U and 14U programs will play in 1 tournament and 1-2 doubleheaders per month and will practice at least twice per week. We will be sure to play in all of the MAJOR tournaments focusing on our energy on the 14U USA Baseball and Perfect Game Events in the summer.
Our coaches will be experienced baseball players who have your son's development in the forefront of their mind.
If you are looking for a team to play tournaments every weekend, we are not the team for you.

The Orlando Scorpions will host a a two and half day camp January 13-15, that will host a minimum of 20 colleges from around the country. This camp will offer a unique opportunity for players to perform in front of these decision makers while learning some of the nuances of baseball from some of the nationa' foremost baseball minds. All players who are interested in playing for the Orlando Scorpions' program must participate in a tryout. Tryouts are held in the form of a college exposure camp twice per year. Our January camp is for the summer season and the September camp for the fall.
