FP 1.2a for Mac will replace the previous patch FP 1.2. Some of the features will include a far more simplified installer, with Macsoft Patches+Fan Patch 1.2a in one package. Installation is by far causing the most problems for new users, and is quite frankly a mess. Downloading 4 patches and making sure they are all installed is tiresome, and far too confusing for younger members. Sticking to the principles that Apple has set for the rest of it's applications, I, as well as other members of the community, have come to the conclusion that we nor Macsoft have provided a simple enough solution to patching the game. To end the confusion, put simply, you download this 1 patch and it will automatically install all 4 patches for the game. Even if you don't own TAD or TWC this patch will be all inclusive, and is 100% compatible with users that are up to date. (Current patches: 1.0.5 for AOE3, 1.0.3 for TWC, and 1.0.1+FP 1.2 for TAD)
