Having spent the last 30 plus years playing electric guitar in a number of local Boston bands , I made the switch to Acoustic guitar a couple of years ago and have enjoyed some success as a single performing artist.

I've recently joined forces with Jeff Grey, a really talented singer/guitar player with great vocals. We've formed a duo and are excited at all of the possibilities, having received rave reviews from our first performances. Between the two of us we bring a variety of instruments into the performance such as harmonica, Bass guitar, Keyboards, Conga's etc. A truly entertaining experience.

James Woolwine Bio:
Currently resides in Melrose, Massachusetts.
James is a graduate of Berklee College of music and currently teaches both guitar and Piano at Music 101 Studios in Melrose, MA. He performs regularly with various vocalists, providing guitar and piano backup and as a solo instrrumentalist. Equally proficient on guitar and piano, James likes to bring a lot of different styles to the open mic in Melrose.

James has an easy charm and stage presence that makes his audience eager to hear what's coming next. ANd they are never disappointed, whether it's a contemporary take on the Bach/Gounod "Ave Maria" played as a metal anthem or a dazzling piece of Khachaturian or one of Woolwine's own multi-layered compositions that take minimalist ideas and transform them into luscious and hypnotic mediations on counterpoint and harmony

Bio: Singer/Songwriter Gabrial Aguilar comes to Melrose whenever he can break away from his day/night job. "Gabe" performs under a number of alias' such as "Xavier" and "Ill Gato" but at Absolutely Fabulous we get to see the real Gabe! He plays his own compositions as well as some great standards. His "Paint it Black" always gets the crowd going.
Gabe also performs at the open mic in Newton at Sol Azteca (wink!).

Bio: Dan is currently in his final year at the New England Conservatory of Music studying under world famous classical guitarist Eliot Fisk. Originally from Mississippi Dan will continue his musical studies in Texas next year with plans to open a Music Academy there in the near future.
Dan is available for concerts, weddings, receptions, & private lessons.
Dan joined us at the Newton Open Mic in March and is an amazing classical guitarist. He plans to drop in occasionally to perform again, We certainly hope he does!

Danielle Ashley Bio;
Singer/Songwriter Danielle is currently completing her senior year at Wellsley College and is majoring in _______.
Her love of music goes back to an early age. She began formal piano classes at he age of 10 studying the classics. She picked up her first guitar at 14
"I enjoyed almost any kind of music. My influences are difficult to pinpoint, yet they all blend together to form an original style and sound. "
She was heavily influenced by the beatles and has played their entire catalogue of songs. Her debut CD, the self-titled "Danielle" is available on her website,
