The Le Mans racing circuit is just 40 minutes away so the cottage has been used by Le Mans 24 Hr, Moto GP and Le Mans Classic participants, exhibitors and spectators over the last 3 years. BBQ is of course available as is a set of boules for that perfect French experience.
A large, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher is there for you to prepare the great produce bought in one of the many local markets.
With three bedrooms (2 double, 1 twin) and two bathrooms we can accommodate up to 6 adults in comfort.
The local area is full of character and interest, both of the natural world and of history.
If you time your visit right you will be able to participate in one of the frequent local celebrations, for the donkey (October), Apples (September), Farming (August) etc..
The picturesque Loir Valley is 40 minutes away with its chateaux, troglodyte dwellings and vineyards and swimming lakes. Whilst a bit further south is the larger and more famous Loire Valley with its many chateaux and wine producers.
Nearer to home Le Mans is a great city with night time light and sound shows projected onto its buildings from June to September. Also wonderful medieval buildings and streets.
But once you have seen the views from the cottage, you may just want to sit and soak in the scenery - with a glass of wine!
January to March 2012 £200 per week excluding laundry
April and May 2012 £250 per week excluding laundry
June to August 2012 £300 per week xcluding laundry
September to October 2012 £250 per week excluding laundry
Laundry can be arranged for £20 per week.
A £50 deposit against breakages and extra cleaning is required.
Payment terms: Deposit of £50 on booking - non-returnable
Balance to be paid 4 weeks before arrival
Longer or shorter stays can be arranged and priced by negotiation.

La Touche Guilmet is less than 2 hours from the port of Ouistreham, Caen. Le Mans is 30 mins south. Beaumont Sur Sarthe with its supermarkets and market is less than 15 mins away. Just down the hill is the village of Segrie with its fantatstic Boulongerie.
20 mins to the west is Sille le Guillame with its swimming lake.
