ABOUT About The Dune Preserve
Hi my name is Bankie Banx and I welcome you to The Dune Preserve. In 1994, I moved back to Anguilla after spending the better part of my 20s and 30s touring Europe, North America and The Caribbean pursuing my life's passion of writing and performing my music.
I found my calling on a small slice of land along the beach on Rendezvous Bay that my mom and dad bought sixty years ago. I run a restaurant, night club and beach bar called The Dune Preserve. Some of the friends that I have made throughout the years often stop by and we have lots of fun.
We've been written up in just about every travel and dining magazine, but nothing compares to the kind words of our many repeat guests and friends.
MENU ENTREES
SALADS AND STUFF
Honey Glazed Barbecue Ribs
Juicy ribs grilled in the traditional Anguillian way over a local charcoal-fired pit, sauced with our house honey barbecue sauce.
Grilled Half Chicken
Juicy grilled half chicken seasoned with local spices.
Whole Fish
Fresh locally harvested fish, steamed, fried or broiled (your choice) and topped with fresh broth.
Grilled Crayfish (Seasonal)
Lightly seasoned and grilled crayfish served on the half shell.
All entrees served with rice of the day and seasoned veggies. Rice of the day may be substituted for french fries.
Smoked Chicken Salad
Seasoned with island spices and served over a bed of fresh greens and juicy tomatoes.
Goat Cheese Salad
Fresh goat cheese, sharp greens and special house dressing.
Bankie's Red Bean Soup
Tender red beans in a vegetable broth, flavored with coconut milk and spices.
*DUNE BURGER
One-third pound of lean groud beef, seasoned with dune spices and served with hand cut home made french fries.
