Off The Trail Missions is committed to sharing the love of Christ through humanitarian care and economic opportunities, to save and empower lives, and to be the Face of Love to the people in the jungle cities of Peru. Our motto, "Not all who wander are lost" describes the commitment that Off The Trail Missions is willing to wander off the trail to reach people that might not otherwise hear the Good News of the saving grace of Jesus Christ. As we wander, we know that Christ, the one and only Way, is serving as our guide.
PHILOSOPHY:
Off The Trail Missions believes in the value of the indigenous church and community. We never want
to undermine or appear to be replacing the local church or community. Rather, we want to come
into agreement with what God is doing in and with the people that He has already placed there.
Therefore, we instruct team members to build quality long-term relationships with local leaders
of the church and the community. This is the heart of the organization. Off The Trail was birthed
through relationships built with the people of Pucallpa, Peru.
