Thales - Business Development
In light of the 9/11 and 7/7 terrorist attacks Thales looked at transferring military technologies to this specialist market. This assignment crossed every internal business boundary. The market place was approached for requirements match purposes by interviewing high-ranking officials in MI5, Scotland Yard, Metropolitan Police, SO13 and Cabinet Office. The output being a report making recommendations for business structure and market penetration opportunities.
General Dynamics Ltd - PBISA
Contracted by the Bowman Programme Manager to provide support to an additional win on top of the Bowman contract. Platform-BISA is a “Glass Cockpit” navigation and situational awareness system provided to the British Army’s Armoured Fighting Vehicles. Detailed liaison with many different companies and agencies was undertaken to trial the product implementation ready for acceptance into service on the Challenger II.
EADS Gmbh - MODAS
Providing the British Liaison Bid Management for EADS in Ulm Germany. In order to provide an "off the shelf" solution to the RAF Tornado aircraft requirements for MODAS (Modular Defensive Aid’s Suite) OEM Partnership Ltd was tasked to provide a British perspective to the German Bid. Structuring the bid in accordance with the UK invitation to tender the role entailed high level management liaison at both company and government level in the UK and Germany.
NATO - SOSTAS
As part of an international team, OEM Partnership Ltd represented UK industry on the Air Group 4 Stand Off Surveillance and Target Aquisition Systems study. Interoperability between NATO forces on the 9 levels control of specialist UAV airbourne assets was investigated resulting in work being carried out for the British Government.
Northrop Grumman - ASTOR
ASTOR is an Airborne Stand Off Radar which required cross Atlantic negotiations with the Prime Contractor in Florida and Baltimore USA. Reporting to Board Level in Washington on contract risk and value OEM Partnership Ltd facilitated the UK Bid Management for the Ground Segment requirements.
General Dynamics Ltd - Bowman
GD(UK) provided a solution to the Bowman system. OEM Partnership Ltd led the feasibility study team which provided the UK Board of Directors with both commercial and technical results enabling a Bid/No Bid decision. Worldwide data gathering at many General Dynamics sites took place to assess capabilities of similar contracts under development and resulted in qualitative and quantitative recommendations being made leading to the contract being won by GD(UK) at a value of £1.8Bn.
In conjunction with Windriver, OEM Partnership Ltd has been published in the specialist C4ISTAR Battlespace magazine and also presented at the Four Nation SAR/SLAR conference in Berlin.
